Accreditation

KPIS has received accreditation from Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) as well as from The Office for National Education Standards and Quality Assessment (ONESQA) since 2008. KPIS is proud to be one of the youngest schools that have been accredited by WASC. The school is also a member of the International Schools Association of Thailand (ISAT).

“The Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) is one of six regional accrediting associations in the United States. The Commission provides assistance to schools located in California, Hawaii, Guam, the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas, American Samoa, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, and East Asia.” WASC, 2012

"The greatest value of the WASC protocol is that it ensures equity and fairness to all students in all schools. Parents, teachers, staff members and students participate in a process that enables them to critically self examine their school plan, set their own goals and assess if their goals are reached for continuous improvement."

By Susie Chow, Former WASC Commissioner, California Federation of Teachers

 ISAT

“The International Schools Association of Thailand was established in 1994. Its principle purpose is to act as a link between international schools, which are members of ISAT on the one hand, and the Ministry of Education, in particular the Office of the Private Education Commission, on the other.” ISAT, 2012

“The quality of education offered at the International Schools Association of Thailand’s (ISAT) member schools has been recognized by accreditation organizations such as the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) and the Council of International Schools (CIS). Matriculating students have been accepted at renowned universities and colleges around the world, and students transferring to schools in other countries gain admittance easily.” By Usa Somboon, President of the International Schools Association of Thailand
