What is the procedure for enrollment in High-School ?

Students from other international schools should get at least 2 years of their previous school transcripts approved by the Registrar in order to determine the number of credits that can be transferred. After the initial assessment of the transcripts, the school admissions will contact back the parents and students for an appointment for personal interviews and take the placement exams.

How much are the school tuition fees ?

School tuition fees range from 250,000 Baht to 400,000 Baht per year, depending on the grade level.

What is WASC ?

WASC stands for Western Association of Schools and Colleges. The WASC is one of six regional accrediting associations in the United States. The Accrediting Commission provides assistance to schools located in California, Hawaii, Guam, the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas, American Samoa, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, and South East Asia.

Is there any support available for children with special needs ? Bullies ? Goal for University ?

The Counselors at KPIS International School support for students with mild to moderate learning difficulties. Counseling and behavior modification programs are offered at some schools for students with mild to moderate emotional and behavioral difficulties. What curriculum is used at KPIS International School?

American Curriculum, California standards. It is reflected in the newly-adopted standards-based textbooks of which approximately 90% of them are from the U.S. Though such standards are followed, due consideration is given to Thai Culture and History.

What are the qualifications and procedure for enrollment in Nursery to 8th Grade ?

The steps are as follow

  • Complete the application form (includes processing fee)
  • Provide all documents required by school
  • Make an appointment with school admissions
  • Take the entrance examination during the appointed time (for PK1 and above)
  • Examination results will be informed in the same day of the examination (for PK1 and above)
Is KPIS fully accredited ?

Yes, the school is fully accredited by WASC which is one of six regional accrediting associations in the U.S., ONESQA and OPEC,  also a legal granting to operate the school by the Ministry of Education and a member of International Schools Association of Thailand (ISAT).

Can students graduating from Grade 12 at KPIS take the Thai national entrance exam ?

Yes, they can request for a special transcript from the Registrar before applying for the Thai national entrance exam.
