As the school year comes to a close, the KPIS International School Kindergarten to Grade 1 Transition Meeting was held with the Parents and Ms. Krystal, Elementary Principal. This meeting was held on May 24th, 2019 at 8:15 - 9:00 a.m in the Elementary School Library of KPIS International School, Bangkok, Thailand. For those parents who missed the meeting, please have a look at the slides shown as photos in the album. This was followed by Shadow Day, where the KPIS International School Kindergarten classes of Whales and Hippos students spent a half day with the Grade 1 students.
On the last day of the after-school tennis club at KPIS International School, Tennis Coach Tamarine Tanasugarn who is one of the most successful professional tennis players in Thailand, awarded certificates to the students who had enrolled for the club. It was a great moment for both the students and the parents at KPIS International School, Bangkok, Thailand.

WASC is the The Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (ACS WASC) and is a world-renowned accrediting association. Dear KPIS International School Community, Yesterday was our final day of competition in this year's ISAA competitive inter-school sports league. There are nine schools competing in this league in seven different sports, all producing a high standard of athletic performance. KPIS International School Tusker's final standing in the ISAA league for this year is Second, which is our highest ever position. The Elementary Summer School Exploration 2019 program of KPIS International School will be academically focused and students will participate in engaging STEM, literacy, and math activities. KPIS Alumnus from the KPIS Class of 2015-2016, Phupa Phuwadonanon(DJ) recently won the election for Student President of Thammasat University. His party’s name is Tham For Dome, which is the party with longest history in Thammasat and has around 300 members. DJ’s part collected 4679 votes! The election was held on 23rd of April, 2019. DJ is currently a third year student at Thammasat University. DJ was the President of the student council when he studied at KPIS International School, Bangkok, Thailand. KPIS congratulates DJ on winning the election.
A Grade 4/1 student, Chinnabud Intasara(Porto) of KPIS International School, Bangkok, Thailand participated in the Rotax Max Challenge Thailand, Round 1, Class: on 16-17, March 2019. The challenge was held at Bira Kart Circuit, Chon Buri, Pattaya, Thailand. Porto stood 4th place in the challenge. KPIS would like to congratulate Porto on his amazing performance.
On May 8, 2019, Thiranat (Elaine) Kititkhunkhongkha, a grade G 7/2 student at KPIS International School, Bangkok, Thailand participated in a violin competition. This competition was set up by the Music School Association (Thailand), Music Silpakorn University and Office of the Private Education Commission (OPEC). There were seventy three participants in the competition. Elaine was among the few participants that received the gold prize for the Under 15: Violin Solo category. KPIS would like to congratulate Elaine on her achievement.

The KPIS International School AP Fair was held on Friday, March 22, 2019, in the Commons, 4th Floor. All parents and students of grades 8-11 were invited! The students and families were invited to the fair to learn more about any and all AP courses that interest them. This AP fair communicated the importance and advantages of AP courses to KPIS students and families Students who take AP classes were shown to have an advantage when applying to universities in Thailand and abroad, and they were also able to earn university credit during their high school career. Samples of course syllabi, resources, assessments, and assignments were available for potential students to preview. KPIS teachers who are offering AP courses were available to describe their course(s) and answer questions.
