The KPIS Secondary School recently hosted Professors from the School of Architecture and Design at King Mongkut University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT). These visits were during the secondary school career class time, and the objective of the university visits was to provide the secondary school student essential information about the university’s admission process and programs.
The Professors presented their Design Innovation program which is being offered through the School of Architecture and Design at KMUTT. Assistant Professor Nimit Mengveha presented a new way of teaching and learning that is innovative and in partnership with Mr. Sebastian Maleville who works at Jacob Jensen Design as the Studio Creative Director. Students work in teams and as stakeholders through experiential learning platforms for the duration of their university experience.
Lastly, there was a question & answer session at the end of the career class where students could clarify their doubts about the programs, admission process, requirements and opportunities.
The other visiting staff was Ms.Vimolrat Krisanakriangkrai (Interior Architecture program lecturer), Mr.Kittipong Phaeruangrattana (KMUTT Admissions and Recruitment Staff), and Ms. Edna Aclan Abrao (Project Coordinator/PR).
