At KPIS, we engage our students’ learning in a variety of ways. The online mathematics site, IXL, is used in Grade 6 as learning reinforcement through practice. Each assigned weekly practice is aligned with the current classroom skill. Although not marked as a Math grade, students are rewarded for their efforts by award certificates. In addition, their cumulative efforts are entered as a standards-based score for ‘Habits for Learning’ on report cards. We are very pleased and proud of our Grade 6 efforts toward their Math skill development!
