On behalf of the KPIS Fine Arts Department, We are delighted to inform you that your child is a part of this year’s Christmas production “The Grinch”. “The Grinch” is one of the most popular Christmas plays based on Dr. Seuss’ famous children’s book: How the Grinch Stole Christmas! This production is a collaboration between Elementary School and Secondary School students. There will be two rounds of performance and two dress rehearsals. Elementary students are divided into two casts, one for each round. Secondary School students will perform for both rounds. The schedule is provided below:
- Monday, Dec 12: Dress rehearsal; 11:50 – 1:20 ES /1 students, ALL secondary performing arts students
- Monday, Dec 12: Dress rehearsal; 1:30 – 3:00ES /2 students, ALL secondary performing arts students
- Tuesday, Dec 13: Dress rehearsal; 11:50 – 1:20 ES /1 students, ALL secondary performing arts students
- Tuesday, Dec 13: Dress rehearsal; 1:30 – 3:00ES /2 students, ALL secondary performing arts students
- Wednesday, Dec 14: Performance round 1; 8.30 – 10.00 (stand by 8:00) ES /1 students, ALL secondary performing arts students.
- Wednesday, Dec 14: Performance round 2; 12.00 – 13.30 (stand by 11:00) ES /2 students, ALL secondary performing arts students
We are also happy to announce that our Christmas production this year will be a live performance. We would like to invite ES and SS parents to come to the show. Since there are limited seats in our theater, the booking is assigned on a first-come-first-serve basis.
