Using clay and popsicle sticks, the Pre K2 – Green Gators and Orange Fish Class students at the KPIS Kindergarten were assigned to construct a building they had learned about during the past few weeks. It could be a house or any building around our community(police station, fire station, hospital, park, school).
This activity helped students demonstrate shape recognition skills and practice shape-building skills. It also stimulated the students’ thinking and problem-solving skills.
