Last month, the kindergarten students in Pre-K 2 started their seeds study unit. For one of the activities, students brought their favorite fruits and vegetables, they cut them using plastic knives and then looked for the seeds. The students learned that some seeds could be found inside and some seeds outside. Also, students compared their seeds and learned about the sizes, shapes, colors and amount of seeds in different fruits & vegetables. It was a great fun and engaging activity.
