Songkran is a festival that celebrates the beginning of the Thai New Year. Students at the KPIS Kindergarten celebrated and learned about Songkran. Traditions such as paying respect to the elders through the giving of garlands and ‘wai’ were introduced to the students. Students participated in the pouring water ceremony called Rod Nam Dum Hua and received blessings from their teachers. Furthermore, they engaged in fun activities through singing, dancing to Thai songs, and arts and crafts activities related to the celebration.Happy Songkran everyone!
