KPIS International Kindergarten, Nursery and Pre-School

During the early stages of a child’s life, the KPIS International School Kindergarten prepares the child for a lifetime of learning. We work hard to provide an environment in which the child develops a love of learning, curiosity, and a healthy mind and body.

Hands-on, project-based investigations from The Creative Curriculum® guide our preschoolers, nursery to pre-kindergarten 2 students, in building their confidence, creativity, and critical thinking skills, and promotes positive outcomes.

Kindergarten teachers encourage children to think critically, problem-solve, and connect ideas using in-depth investigations of science and social studies topics that integrate literacy and mathematics concepts in our common core curriculum.

Finally, scheduled time in the KPIS Kindergarten Learning Centers complement our program by helping nourish and foster the perfect learning environment. Children explore the centers, build self-esteem, and curiosity. The centers’ uniqueness stems from our integration of Montessori practices with the Creative Curriculum® framework which applies Howard Gardner’s Theory of Multiple Intelligences. The centers provide opportunities for each child to pursue their own talents independently and demonstrate areas of strength. By the time students complete kindergarten at KPIS International School in Bangkok, they are able to understand, speak, and read English, and are ready for Elementary School.

A typical weekly class schedule for nursery include time for integrated learning of the core subjects (math, science, language arts, and social studies), music and movement, the time allotted for the library, the learning center, indoor and outdoor play, 

A typical weekly class schedule for prekindergarten 1 and 2 includes thirty-minute classes each of Math, Science, Language Arts, Social Studies, Music, PE, Thai, and  Chinese, Art, and the Learning Center.
