Tea Party at the KPIS Kindergarten

English Speaking Week

KPIS International School recently celebrated English Speaking Week and here is a glimpse of how it was celebrated in the Kindergarten.

Students were engaged in participating in storytelling, songs, and rhymes, they got to know different children’s book characters and stories, and English speaking was promoted in school. To end the celebration, KPIS hosted a Tea Party where teachers and students came to school wearing their favorite book characters.

The celebration started with a morning assembly and a beautiful program where students watched different children’s stories, songs, and rhymes. The program was as follows:
Opening Song: “I’m a Little Teapot”
Story/Puppet/Song: “Goldilocks and the Three Bears”
Song: “Under the Sea”
Play: “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”
Nursery Rhyme: “Ten Little Ladybugs”
Story: “Pete the Cat: I Love My White Shoes”

This was then followed with a lovely Tea Party and student engagement activities that were held at four stations:
Station 1: Tea Party
Station 2: Bears Game
Station 3: Counting Ladybugs
Station 4: Decorating Crowns

These activities create a nurturing environment for students where they develop a love of learning, curiosity, a healthy mind/body, and above all become a happy child. It also builds confidence, creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

It was an exciting day for the children during the English Speaking Week at the Kindergarten in KPIS International School.
