It is the mission of the KPIS Admissions Team to recruit, inform, and admit new, qualified students to KPIS in a professional and friendly manner, maintaining the integrity of the school, the students, and their families. The school's admissions policy prioritizes the provision of quality education, and student acceptance is based on meeting the school's established standards and qualifications.
KPIS Aims to do the following
  • Achieve consistency, transparency and fairness when processing applications of admissions that are in line with school mission, vision, and values
  • Be inclusive in the admissions process to accommodate students that are able to meet entry requirements to benefit from the American curriculum with the support systems that KPIS is able to provide
  • Follow a process that includes a comprehensive review of all admissions submission requirements, including application forms, supporting documentation, screening NWEA MAP results (Elementary - Secondary), and interview notes and observations, in order to adequately identify any specific needs of applicants and whether they can be met by the school
  • Provide an in-depth breakdown student life at KPIS, detailing all programs provided by the school both academic and extracurricular
  • Effectively, clearly, and consistently communicate with each applicant family, developing a partnership with applicant families to be continued throughout the entirety of the student’s experience at KPIS
  • Provide support and mechanisms to enable the easy transition of all students into our school community, valuing diversity and differences in our student family community

Admissions Policy
This admissions policy guides and governs the admissions process of students looking to enroll at KPIS International School (for insert year). This policy is pertinent to families seeking a place at KPIS International School in Bangkok. The Admissions Team's mission is to recruit, inform, and admit new, qualified students to KPIS in a professional and friendly manner, maintaining the integrity of the school, the students, and their families. Application Period:
Kindergarten admissions are ongoing, while grades 1-12 align with Semesters 1 (August-December) and 2 (January-June). Elementary students enroll quarterly. Apply year-round, but decisions are made when all documents are received. Early application is advised due to potential grade-level fullness. Admission is possible based on program availability and prior school records. The school may refuse admission without specifying reasons in cases where family fit or expectations misalign.

Application Process:
KPIS aims for inclusivity in admissions. Contact the Admissions Office to schedule a school visit at 02-943-7790 ext.513 or admissions@kpis.ac.th. Submit the application form, schedule admissions testing (excluding Kindergarten), and pay a 2,000 Baht testing fee with preliminary documents. Take the test by appointment, followed by an interview for G1-G12 applicants. Results, communicated in 2-3 business days, include Admission Denied, Provisional Acceptance, or Acceptance. If accepted, complete enrollment at the KPIS campus.

Admissions outcomes:
Admissions decisions are based on thoroughly evaluating documents and interviews aligning with school standards. Parents must truthfully disclose information. Results are communicated in 2-3 business days, including Acceptance, Conditional Acceptance, Waitlist, or Admission Denied.

Offer of enrollment / Confirmation:
Upon receiving test results, parents sign the Enrollment form at school and pay a nonrefundable 100,000 Baht booking deposit to secure the seat. The school offers EAL support with additional fees, acknowledged by parents in the application. Progress reports are quarterly, and students may transition to mainstream classes semesterly.
